Summer lives in an old farmhouse with minimal storage space so she’;s always on the lookout for ways to improve this.? Summer’;s husband was walking their dog when he spotted a beat-up dresser sitting curbside. They snatched up the would-be trash with plans to turn it into treasure.? Summer sanded it down to remove the multiple layers of paint.? She painted it blue using Annie Sloan’;s Chalk Paint.? Rather than stop with a fresh coat of paint, she decided to give it a dose of personality using a furniture stencil. Summer selected the Entwined Craft Stencil and painted the the pretty pattern a couple shades darker than the base coat.? Summer had this to say about her stencil project ”; The pattern turned out nicely. It adds subtle detail without being overpowering. ”; Summer spent less than $40 in supplies and managed to create a stylish looking dresser.? We bet you would have never guessed this piece was once sitting curbside!
